Moving On Up

You go looking for a shot of the Isle of Dogs and Canarly Wharf, and get lucky with the skeleton of Printworks one way, and a hidden lake another.

On this shoot, we set up right on the edge of the historic freshwater basin. The goal wasn’t to fly high and capture the entire sprawling expanse of South East London; it was to hover just low enough to let the local architecture and the water be seen.

This part of town really is a bit special. Rotherhithe is its own enclave. A bit of a secret, with wildness, marinas, epic history and sea air.. with no main roads running through, it kinda feels like you’re on an island.

Theres a whole heap of construction happening too… so we’ll be keeping an eye with some aerial videos, and some aerial art.
